Benjamin Albers

Founder, MentalCareHealth

Benjamin is the Founder of MENtalCare, an affiliate of the MentalCareHealth Group, motivated by a deep understanding of the urgent need for mental healthcare that’s open and inclusive. Drawing from both his personal experiences and professional insights, Benjamin noticed a big gap in mental health support, especially for men from different backgrounds and age groups.

Driven by a desire to bridge this gap, Benjamin started MENtalCare with 2 simple goals in mind: (1) to make behavioral health services easier to access for men and their families and (2) address the mental health epidemic and work towards a solution to fix the behavioral health sector that is failing our population. He wants to create a space where everyone feels welcome and empowered to take care of their psychological well-being, no matter who they are.

Benjamin believes in a holistic approach to mental health, one that recognizes the challenges of today’s world. He sees MENtalCare not just as a place for treatment but as a hub for innovation in mental healthcare. He aims to inspire men to get more involved in behavioral health, whether as advocates or professionals in the field.

Benjamin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Louis University and is currently working towards a Master of Social Work with a focus on mental health at Washington University in St. Louis. He’s dedicated to continued learning and professional growth so he can make a real difference in the world of behavioral health.

Have Questions? We have Answers.

The foundation of MENtalCare stemmed from a critical observation: a significant gap existed in mental health services tailored specifically to meet the needs of men. While many community-based clinics and organizations offer behavioral health services catering to a diverse clientele, they often overlook the unique challenges faced by men. Despite a growing recognition among men of the benefits of counseling and therapy, this demographic still perceives psychological services as stigmatized and unnecessary.

In response to this pressing need, our company embarked on a mission to provide comprehensive behavioral health support tailored specifically for men and their families. Beyond merely offering counseling and therapy, MENtalCare is committed to providing educational content and fostering a supportive community where men can connect authentically and take proactive steps towards improving their mental health.

At MENtalCare, we recognize the importance of addressing the unique needs and concerns of men in the realm of mental health. By offering a safe and welcoming space for men to seek support, access resources, and engage in meaningful conversations, we aim to empower individuals to take charge of their mental well-being and break down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health issues.

We prioritize keeping you informed with credible, up-to-date mental health resources. Our team meticulously reviews educational materials sourced from licensed clinicians and articles authored by mental health professionals with real-world expertise. We welcome partnerships that align with our mission and benefit those we serve. Interested organizations can initiate discussions through our “Contact Us” page, and together, we can pave the way for impactful collaborations.
